If you’re someone who doesn’t want to be bothered with router table plans, then it may be a good idea for you to purchase a prebuilt router table. Personally, I choose to build a router table from scratch, but as far as the premade tables go, Kreg offers very good models are affordable prices.

To me, as an amatuer and professional woodworker, I think that building the table is part of the fun. I can understand that sometimes people either want a professional looking shop, or perhaps are not at the experience level yet to build their own table. In that situation I think it is okay to purchase a router table, but I definitely think it is something that you will be missing out on if you never build your own router table. Router table plans that are obtained from credible sources are very self-explanatory and easy to follow. Even the novice woodworker should be able to follow and complete router table plans for their own, homemade table.

What I like most about this video is that the narrator gives a very in-depth and detailed look at Kreg’s router table construction and qualities. Having a metal-frame construction can be a plus to some people, but I still feel that it is odd to have a metal router table in your woodworking shop..
